From Preschool to Fall Traditions: A Family Full of Smiles
I met this family through the local preschool I photograph each fall and spring, and they have become fall regulars! Loving the fall vibes and beautiful smiles they bring to each session. So grateful for these moments and the chance to watch their family grow. #FallVibes #FamilyTraditions #BeautifulSmiles #PreschoolConnection #FallPhotos
Capturing Friendship and Growth Through the Years
It’s an understatement to say how truly honored I am to photograph this family, who are also some of my closest friends. I’ve known them for so long, I’ve lost count! Watching this young lady grow from a baby to now a little lady has been such a joy. Our time together is always full of laughs, and we don’t do this often enough! Grateful for these moments and the friendship that means so much. #FamilyPhotos #GrowingUp #CherishedMemories #LaughterAndLove #CloseFriends #TimelessMoments
Festive Reds & Holiday Cheer🎄❤️
The F family joined me again for a holiday session! Loving the gorgeous reds – this session shouts that this family is ready for the holidays! So lucky to be able to document their growth as a family year after year. #HolidaySession #FamilyGrowth #FestiveVibes #HolidayCheer #FamilyPhotos
Western Boots & Holiday Colors
Got to see all of my favorite families this year! 🍂 This lovely family joined me at Clay Family Eastern Glades for a fall family session, and it was perfect! Love the holiday colors and those western boots! 👢❤️ Can’t wait for more sessions like this! #FallFamilySession #HolidayColors #WesternBoots #ClayFamilyEasternGlades #FamilyPhotos
Holiday photos with the D family
Friends and neighbors, the D family joined me again for holiday photos! 🎄📸 Always a blast hanging with them and their adorable pup! 🐾❤️ Grateful for these sweet moments and memories made together. Can’t wait for next year’s session! #HolidayPhotos #FamilyMemories #Grateful
Capturing Fall Memories
One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is the opportunity to watch families grow and change over time. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the R family since 2019, and it’s been such a rewarding experience to capture their milestones year after year.
Each fall, we meet for their seasonal session, and I’m always amazed by how much the kids have grown, their personalities shining through in every shot. Photography is more than just taking pictures—it’s about preserving memories, and I’m so grateful that the R family trusts me to document their journey. I can’t wait to continue watching these kiddos grow and create more beautiful memories together in the years to come!
Senior Session at the Houston Botanic Garden
Changed it up a bit and had the chance to photograph this amazing high school senior! Love, love, love the venue he and his mom selected – the Houston Botanic Garden. Isn’t the backdrop just stunning?! This guy is equally amazing, and I can’t wait to see all the great things he does in the future! #HighSchoolSenior #HoustonBotanicGarden #SeniorSession #AmazingBackdrop #NewBeginnings #SeniorPortraits
Annual Bluebonnet Photos with a Favorite Family
These kiddos are back with their amazing family for the annual bluebonnet photos! I didn’t market these this year, as it was a crazy time with my own kiddo activities, but I am so glad we managed to get these in with this favorite client! Always a joy capturing these beautiful moments with this sweet family. #BluebonnetPhotos #FamilyTraditions #SpringMemories #AnnualPhotos
Capturing the Beauty of New Beginnings: A Newborn Session
Newborn sessions are always such an honor to be asked to do. There’s something so special about witnessing the gentle interactions between older siblings and the new baby — the soft touches, sweet smiles, and the contented sighs of a brand-new life. The beauty of those first few, slow days at home is simply unmatched. I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture these precious moments for families. #NewbornSession #SiblingLove #NewBeginnings #PreciousMoments #FamilyPhotography
Texas bluebonnet season
Texas bluebonnet season got a late start this year (thanks to Icepocalypse 2021) but it did not disappoint! Check out some of my favorite shots from the season.
Extended family session – Heights
I first met the R family during one of my holiday mini sessions. They are a delight to work with and we always have a fun time.
Extended family, front porch session
Extended Family Session
It’s more important than ever to document those special moments with family!
I had the pleasure of meeting this multi-generational family at Heights Boulevard on a beautiful Sunday morning! It was one of those unicorn Houston, fall days when the air was crisp and the humidity low. A perfect opportunity for photos.
10th wedding anniversary – COVID-style
Birthdays, baby showers, wedding anniversaries…during the height of COVID, well we all had to adjust. This couple was opting to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary at home like the rest of us but still wanted to do something special. So they put on their wedding duds and had the kids dress up however they pleased. The result was just magic!
Front Porch Session
What better way to document all of the time spent at home in 2020 than with a front porch session!
Summer front porch session
Another lovely family called me up for a front porch session to document the craziness of 2020!
Front porch session
One weekend in late May, I offered a series of front porch sessions. Meet the T family!
One thing I think we’ve all taken away from our experiences in 2020 is the importance of our families!
Smash cake session
A year goes by so fast! Seems like just yesterday I was photographing his newborn session. Happy first birthday little G!
Baptism – St. Anne’s
What a beautiful Saturday morning in February this turned out to be! I had the pleasure of photographing Baby S’s baptism at St. Anne’s Catholic church in Houston, Texas.
Newborn session
Loved everything about this session. This was my first time meeting this beautiful family! They had recently welcomed home their baby girl. Isn’t she lovely?

Wedding at Ousie’s Table
Had great opportunity to second shoot wedding at Ousie’s Table. Check out this happy couple! Wedding shot in collaboration with lead photographer Jacki Schaefer of Water Oak Studio.
Siblings – Christmas mini session
These little ones are a delight! This is one of my favorite shots from their Christmas mini session.
Christmas mini session
It’s official and the holiday are here! Had the opportunity to shoot this fun family for a Christmas mini session. These boys were enamored with the Christmas playhouse!
Siblings in black and white
This was another great shot that came out of a family session I had the opportunity to assist with during the summer. These kiddos were incredible and clearly adored one another.
Family session – shadow opportunity
I had the opportunity to shadow friend photographer, Water Oak Studio, during a family session over the summer. I took away some beautiful images and incredible tips!
It’s Fall Y’all!
This weekend we got out and staged the amazing playhouse Dad built in the spring. I’m not usually a huge fan of staging and posing but I’d purchased some gorgeous mums for the front yard so why not! H was being particularly cooperative and you can tell here she is a total ham!
Tiger face, Event photography
Check out the detail in this face paint by Janey Waney Balloons! This little guy couldn’t wait to show off his Tiger face.
Balloon and face painting artist, Event photography
Jane, of Janey Waney Balloons, was amazing with the kids at this four year old birthday party. She had kids lined up for over two hours wowing them with her awesome balloon animals. And no she is not limited to just animals; she created princesses, swords, guns, you name it! She’s also an amazing face painter!
The avid listener, Family Session
This cutie is my daughter, Hadley, and I just had to include this image as it’s one of my recent favorites. I shot this over the holidays as she listened to her grandmother telling a story. I love that my mother’s curly red hair helps frame the image.
Pictures do an incredible job of evoking memories and even feelings. It’s for this reason, it is so important to take pictures of your family frequently.
Pearly whites – Family Session
Love how this image captures that short period of time when babies have that perfect mixture of gummy grins and pearly whites.
Hold hands often – Engagement Session
I know this couple will remember to hold hands often! This is one of my favorite shots from their engagement session at Sam Houston Park. That’s St. John’s church in the background.
Shirley Temple curls – Detail Shot
I never get tired of photographing Hadley’s curls. These are the sort of details I want to always remember.
Partners in crime – Family Session
Cousins by blood, sisters at heart! These partners in crime were non-stop giggles and made for such fun photographing.
Rustic charm – Engagement Session
I love the rustic charm of this front porch. This was one of my first shots from this engagement session and I was so excited with how it turned out! If you don’t recognize this building, Old Place, you can find it at Sam Houston Park in downtown Houston.
Tutus and twirls – Mommy & Me session
This little one was game to show off her dance skills. We met up at a neighborhood Houston park in the Heights one afternoon following her dance class.
First birthday portrait
Look who turned one! Aren’t those baby blues amazing?
You don’t always need a fancy location or back drop. This is from a simple in-home session.
Lifestyle nursery
Lifestyle, Sibling Session
I photographed these beautiful sisters during an in-home session. I sat back while they had all sorts of fun, even jumping on the bed. Shhh, don’t tell mom!
Birthday girl – Event
I’ve known this little girl since birth and I’m still having a hard time adjusting to the fact she is six now! I photographed she and her birthday guests at the World Champion’s Centre in Spring, Texas.
Tiny Dancer – Mommy and me session
The play of light breaking through the trees overhead makes this shot one of my favs. I admit I have many favorites so it was hard to pick just a few from this Mommy and me session.
Big & little – Sister Session
These are my two little ones. One afternoon, I had the girls playing dress up and to my irritation they kept being drawn to the window. A cement truck was pouring a slab for a new foundation across the street and this was far more entertaining than my games. The moment, however, worked and I’m grateful for all the ruckus outside that day!
Newborn lifestyle detail
Unique framing can make an image! I love the blur.
S family session, mother and children
Here is another image from the S family session at the Houston Zoo. Did you know that the first Saturday of each month zoo members can get in an extra hour early! It’s a great way to beat the crowds.
Genuine smile – engagement session
Genuine smiles are like gold and capturing this laugh was akin to hitting the jackpot! Doesn’t she glow?!
Goldilocks – family session
This Goldilocks was so much fun to work with. Her mom warned me that when a camera comes out so does her “fake smile” but this one is just right!
Park session
Simple picnic blanket, bright green grass, beautiful baby blues!
Everyday moment
I love this sort of everyday moment.
Child at play – lifestyle session
For this in-home lifestyle session, I went up to the girls’ playroom and just sat back and observed. I love how deep in thought she is.
Up close and personal
Alright, this kiddo is tough to capture. Why? Because she wants to be behind the lens! I think it’s the framing that draws me over and over to this image.
Couples session in Woodlands, Texas
This couples session was shot in the Woodlands. We found a beautiful green space and then proceeded on to the Woodland’s Waterway. These two were hilarious and such fun to be around.
Close up at the Houston Zoo
Isn’t this kiddo just a natural in front of the camera! Well he comes by it honestly; his mother is a photographer and he’s been in front of a lens since birth!
Life is in the details
Life really is in the details as cliché as it sounds. But really, who would want to forget these adorable feet? It is so important to record these tiny features.
Mommy-daughter session at neighborhood park
This beautiful pair invited me to a local park after the little one’s ballet practice.
Newborn and bluebonnets
I had an amazing opportunity to shoot this Houston family right during the Texas Bluebonnet season. It was particularly special as I had the chance to meet their new addition to the family, Baby B. Less than a week old, he was a little trooper!
Documentary portrait
For context, she’d just returned from a long, fun-filled afternoon at the river. Imagine the heat of the summer in Texas Hill Country.
T family
I was so excited to capture the T siblings in their beautiful, Houston home. A photographer’s dream – creamy, bright light and pensive eyes.
Father-daughter at Houston park
“If you never did you should. These things are fun. And fun is good!” – Dr. Seuss
Seemed applicable to this session! This dad isn’t a fan of being photographed but what a sweet moment captured!
